Wanted: Copper sheet (thin) or tinplate for sale in Edmonton, Alberta

I'm looking for some thin copper sheet metal, or some tinplate such as is used to make 4 litre Coleman fuel containers, etc.
I use this material for making toys, and do not need huge amounts. Finding small amounts of thin copper sheet or light gauge tinplate is very difficult - metal suppliers want to sell it by the truckload.
Sheet Aluminum and thick galvanized steel roof flashing are not suitable; aluminum because I cannot solder it, and steel roof flashing because it is usually too thick to be easily worked for toymaking.

I am retired and live on a small disability pension, so my hobby budget is small. I make the toys for my own enjoyment, and to give away to children.
